Deni van Schie is from the Netherlands, where he received his BSc in Medical Biology from Radboud University in Nijmegen. He is now pursuing his graduate degree in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease as an exchange student at the University of Toronto. His research project focuses on resolving pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma intra-tumor phenotypic and genomic heterogeneity using imaging mass-cytometry and laser-capture microdissection. Outside of the lab, he enjoys spending time in nature and playing video games.
